During his 6 seasons of professional baseball, Brandon was able to learn from some great baseball coaches Bobby Valentine, Bob Boone, Ron Washington, John Tamargo, Ron Plaza and John Gibbons to name a few. Playing along side Major Leaguers Jason Isringhausen, Preston Wilson, Jay Payton, Paul Byrd and Jerome Burnitz was also a great learning experience.
Since completing his sport management degree from Kennesaw State University in 1999, Brandon has opened or consulted on six indoor training complexes in different parts of the country ranging in size from 1200 square feet to well over 50,000 square feet.
Individual lessons, summer camps and coaches clinics are all important aspects of his training system.
There are two reasons why Brandon Smith Baseball exists.
The first is to use the game of baseball to glorify God by teaching principles that can be applied in baseball as well as in everyday life. Learning perseverance, patience, accuracy (honesty), preparation and other skills will make ball players better at their sport while at the same time more successful, well rounded individuals.
